Help Mt. Hebron Committee
The Help Mt. Hebron Committee is a sub-committee of the Mt. Hebron PTSA. It represents students, staff, parents, and the community. After successfully advocating for a thorough assessment of Mt. Hebron's deficiencies with respect to HCPSS educational specifications, safety issues, and building environment/physical plant concerns, Help Mt.Hebron was an active participant in the development of a comprehensive solution that reflects the many needs and concerns that were also echoed by the community.
Since the renovation plans were adopted, Help Mt. Hebron representatives have been a part of a Renovation Liaison Committee comprised of the HCPSS Chief Financial Officer, senior Central Office staff, Mt. Hebron's principal Scott Ruehl, and the construction project manager. Together with Help Mt. Hebron and Mr. Ruehl, the committee has identified opportunities and pre-empted concerns. The Renovation Liaison Committee meets monthly. Look for periodic updates in the Viking Voice PTSA newsletter from Mr. Ruehl.
